Mother Hunger Book Study

You’ve been wanting to get more into books lately, but sometimes texts go over your head, and honestly, you’d love to be in a space where you can dive into being a learner while being in community with others.

Join the Bottomless to Sober Book Study, led by me, an award-winning teacher 👩🏽‍🏫, where you access structured discussions around critical points of a text to help you better understand the book’s content.

🌟 How does it work, and what’s the cost?

All sessions are live on Zoom.

You sign up week by week, so you pay only for the sessions you’re interested in attending or watching the recording for if you can’t join live.

For this book, Mother Hunger: How Adult Daughters Can Understand and Heal from Lost Nurturance, Protection, and Guidance by Kelly McDaniel, the price per book study session is $4.99. All sessions will be recorded and will be available for 30 days from the time of recording.

🌟 What to Expect:

Each session will:

  • Have clear expectations for how to participate (or you can just come and listen!)
  • Be recorded for participants’ access only for 30 days.
  • Have a planned presentation regarding key topics with guiding questions for reflection and conversation on the selected portion of the text for that week.
  • Include additional resources as necessary to make the content more accessible.

🌟 Who is this for?

  • Women who love reading but need accountability.
  • Women who want to learn more about challenges in forming secure attachments, whether due to early disruptions in their relationship with their mothers or other factors.
  • People who don’t necessarily love reading but enjoy learning about how our early relationships impact how we show up in life today.
  • This is open to any woman. Identifying as being in recovery is not a requirement.
  • Feel free to connect in a private book study group on Facebook as well!
